Description

The main objective of the MAINGAP project is to accelerate the implementation of cutting-edge technological solutions to respond to the great challenges that may emerge as we move towards Industry 4.0 in the Euroregion. The Automotive and Aeronautical sectors are the starting point for this project, despite its multisectoral approach.

Impact

The transfer and valorisation of 4.0 technologies to innovative SMEs in Euroregion, as the result of the development of nine technological solutions, in which the principles of Factory 4.0 have been applied to improve the overall efficiency and competitiveness of companies. The implementation of demonstrators in companies, covering key technologies such as augmented and virtual reality, additive manufacturing, digital manufacturing, flexible production systems, exoskeletons and collaborative robotics will validate these solutions.
